The programme was directed by the managing director of STG Consulting Enterprise, Mr Marcus Masemola. We were welcomed by Mr Mokoena who represented the school.

Mr Daniel Mamba from Mafube Coal shared with us and the learners the purpose of Career Day and he briefly shared with the learners the vision of the Mine and the opportunities available for them as young people to be able to study further.

On the day we had two classrooms, the first one was meant for formal presentations explaining the importance of career path. We had 5 PIT’s from Mafube Coal presenting to the learners, sharing with them their journey of studying and how they managed to choose their careers

The second classroom was meant for exhibitions where 4 different Institutions of Higher Learning presented the field of studies which their offering. The learners were given a chance to go around the stalls to ask different questions in relation to their field of interest. The colleges came with broaches, prospectors and some with gifts for the learners.

The above mentioned stakeholders managed to release positive energy to the learners, with their passion and dedication. So much light was brought to the Beestepan Agricultural School learners. Indeed their lives of learning will never be the same again.

We give thanks to Mafube Coal for such an impactful event, and for making us to be part of it.
