STG Consulting Enterprise was approached by Primrose Mthimunye, to assist her by planning an event called “See Beyond Your Scars” specifically for orphans. Such a gathering has forever been in her heart since she’s also an orphan. She understands the pain better and challenges of losing parents and not have anyone to turn to.
The main purpose of the event was to bring back hope, transform their lives and also to assist them in understanding the challenges of life.
This was a free community event and we had to approach certain people within the community for assistance. This great event was held at a place called Sizabaswele Old Age Home, Reabotha, Mhluzi, Middelburg, on the 13th of October 2018. We were generously given the place for the day by Gogo’Sarah who’s the center manager at the home of the Aged.
The program of the day was directed by Precious Nqobile Sibiya. In our mist we had four speakers who encouraged young people who were present on the day, the speakers further shared briefly about their life journey. The following cynopses is the words from the speakers:
1. Mr.Godfrey Mondlane popular known as GM by his music fans, he is the Best Mpumalanga Gospel Artist Of The Year For 2016. Mr Mondlane is the founder of Ukhamba Lobuntu Eevents management, Ukhamba Lobuntu Records and Ukhamba Lobuntu Chem. In his message he was emphasizing on the importance of allowing God to rule your life as a young person, he further encouraged the youth that it is possible to change your life from worst to better if only you are focused.
2. Happy Chilly who was born in Mhluzi Middelburg, she’s a teacher by profession and she’s currently working in the department of education. She talked a lot about the importance of education and also on serving God in truth and in spirit as a young person.
3. Sifiso Nkosi from Mhluzi Middelburg, who is the founder of a local newspaper called Xpress Newspapers and Printers, founder of Xpress Arts and theater. Sifiso remains committed and passionate in youth development. He touched a lot on business and the importance of knowing your purpose on earth as a person. Sifiso mentioned one of his favorite sayings; ”Once you have found your purpose and start doing it, you will never work a day in your life”. Which simply means you won’t enjoy doing something that you do not love.
4. Mr. Marcus Masemola from Middelburg Mpumalanga who is currently a mentor and a life coach, motivational speaker, reverend, qualified workshop facilitator, marriage counsellor and the founder of the company called See The Glory Consulting Enterprise Pty Ltd. As the man after God’s heart he was the one who shared the word of God, he opened Psalm 139 Verse 1,2,3,4,5 and 15. His preaching was based on making us to understand that we are not a mistake and God does not make mistakes. And actually we should be glad that we no longer have parents because maybe if we still had parents we wouldn’t be as responsible and focused as we are now. So we should walk with boldness and fulfill what God has installed in us.

The event was mostly attended by young people, they participated well. There was lots of love and unity. Everything went accordingly as planned.
