Tebogo Maluleke and his Colleagues hosted Mr. & Miss Mhluzi 2020 beauty pageant. Mhluzi is a township just west of the large farming and industrial town Middelburg in South Africa province of Mpumalanga. The objective of hosting the pageant was to encourage and uplift the youth as well as building a good character amongst the participants, to find ones personality, their own strengths and weakness as a person. Gain confidence and raise their self-esteem, and prove to people that it is not impossible to have beauty and brains.
Some of the youth of today lack Self Esteem as a result they don’t see themselves worthy to attain good things. Self-esteem is used to describe a person’s overall sense of self–worth or personal value. In other words, how much you appreciate and like yourself.
It involves a variety of beliefs about yourself, such as the appraisal of your own appearance, beliefs, emotions, and behaviors, the pageant was a great platform to ignite self-esteem to the participants
STG Consulting Enterprise was approached to sponsor the event by committing to pay for the winners to go and write their learners license.
STG Consulting Enterprise believes in empowering the youth and also shaping them to be better citizens, the following are the young people who won the pageant and received money from STG to go and pay to book for the writing of their learners license:
- Xoliswa Mhlongo was crowned MISS Mhluzi 2020
- Magnificent Mahlangu was crowned MR. Mhluzi 2020
- Timmi Skosana was crowned 1st prince 2020
- Kamogeleo Maredi was crowned 2nd prince 2020
Young people are the future of this country, by empowering and shaping them, you are also shaping how the country will look like in the future.
