STG Consulting Enterprise had a seminar under the theme “THE LEADER IN YOU“. The event took place on the 25 August 2018 at Phetshile Guesthouse in Middelburg Mpumalanga.

The purpose of the Leadership Seminar was to enhance the leader in you as well as strengthen the qualities of being a leader.

The programme was directed by Precious Nqobile Sibiya.

Three speakers unpacked the following topics:

1.       Mr Kgale B Mampane – “Enhance the leader in you “.

A life-long learner, and a teacher,  he is an author of “Educators experiences and Perception of Teacher Absenteeism” addressing “a leader must develop a relationship with people by giving them perception”

Garry Wills: “Leadership is mobilizing others towards a goal shared by the leader and followers.”

L – Leader

E – Equipper

A – Attitude

D – Dealer

E – Excellent

R – Relationship

He Concluded by saying “Great leaders start off being great followers”.

 

2.       Mr Gareth Brown – “Your Position of Authority“

A qualified facilitator and assessor doing facilitation on soft skills and training for different corporates. A National Council member FEDSAS.

O – Open and accessible

R – Respect

I – Innovative

T – Team work / Be thankful

Y – Yardstick to follow

In order for a war to be just, three things are necessary. First, the authority of the sovereign. Secondly a just cause. Thirdly a rightful intention.

3.       Mr Marcus Masemola – “a Leader takes decisions “

Leadership is not about power control, but service. it’s not about power, but empowerment. It’s not about manipulation, but inspiration.
